This Privacy Policy explains how Valyant AI LLC ("Valyant," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Valyant mobile application (the "App") and connect a Valyant wearable device. This policy covers the App specifically; purchases on our online store are covered by our store Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication details (via Google Firebase Authentication).

Health and fitness data. With your consent, the App accesses and collects the following from your connected wearable device and your inputs:

• Body temperature
• Heart rate (continuous and single readings) and heart rate variability (HRV)
• Blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂)
• Stress level
• Sleep data (sleep stages, quality, and duration)
• Physical activity: steps, distance, calories burned, and workouts (type, duration, distance, calories)
• Menstrual cycle information you log (period dates and cycle settings)

Device and technical data. Bluetooth connection information and device identifiers needed to pair and communicate with your wearable, plus basic diagnostic/crash data to keep the App working.

How We Use Your Information

We use this information solely to:

• Display your health metrics, trends, and insights in the App
• Provide tracking features (sleep, activity, recovery, cycle tracking)
• Sync and back up your data to your account across your devices
• Maintain, secure, and improve the App

We do not use your health data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with data brokers.

How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud backend (Google Firebase). Data is protected in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption.

Sharing of Information

We share health data only with service providers that process it on our behalf to operate the App (e.g., Google Firebase for authentication and cloud storage). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes. We do not otherwise share your health data with third parties.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can disconnect your device at any time and request deletion of your account and all associated health data by deleting your account in the App or emailing privacy@valyant.io. Upon deletion, your health data is removed from our active systems.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under [13/16], and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the revised version here with an updated "Last updated" date.
